I’m pretty sure they didn’t have Chippies in 5th Century BCE China, but if they had, Confucius, much like myself, may have found himself gazing at a humble wooden fork and appreciating its shapely form.
Would he have turned it into a piece of jewellery? Who knows. But that’s exactly what we’ve done.
