My recipe for the perfect martini:

Add 60ml gin and 30ml vermouth into a mixing glass filled with ice.

Stir smoothly, running the spoon along the edge of the glass, for 30–45 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist.
